1I work on in my gym 5-6 times a week but sometimes I just want to stay home. Have any recommendations on workout dvds? The more unconventional the better, because I love mixing up my workouts. But any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
2Question: Any specific calculations for the fiber/calorie ratio? For example... if you have two different snacks, one is lower in calories (100cals) and 1gr of fiber...vs. something that is 250cals but with 6gr of fiber. Which would be the better choice if you are counting calories? I don't know how to explain what I am asking... but if you eat something higher in both cals/fiber does it kinda equal out because of the higher fiber content?? If this makes absolutely no sense or you have no idea what I am asking, LOL!! Please ignore me hahahaha
3HEY Superfoxml,
Have you tried Turbo Jam? I absolutely love them! They are fun, energetic and have good music. Its also a sort of interval workout! http://amazon.com/s?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=turbo+jam&Go.x...
Another good one is Billy Blanks Tae Bo and he has lots of different onces and its also a great substitute for intervals.

There is also a good list of them here:

A calorie is a calorie, no matter what the fiber content in the food. But fiber is good for you body, so in my opinion, I would go for the more fiber. Did that answer your question?
5okay! I was thinking there was something more to it, but I couldn't remember what. I probably made it up LOL!!
No it makes sense that a calorie is a calorie. Just wanted to make sure! Thanks!
6Hi! I know that the experts always say switching up your cardio is essential, because your body gets used to whatever you're doing. My question is - do I need to do something different every day? Or should I just switch it up every week/month/whatever? Right now I'm averaging about 20 minutes on the treadmill and 40 minutes on the elliptical 5 days a week. Should I switch it up more? Any reccomendations for different kinds of cardio to try??
7Hello Laurini!
You do not need to change up your cardio every day. I would suggest every 4 week you change it up a bit. Even something as simple as doing intervals for 45 seconds instead of 30 seconds are enough for a change.
Are you doing intervals on the treadmill or just steady state cardio? Intervals are phenomenal for fat loss and can be done in shorter durations.
Taebo, Punching bags, bike and even bodyweight circuits are good for cardio. Here is example of a bodyweight circuit.
I will be doing more as time goes on..
8okay, so I saw this and thought that you could probably be one to help me. I'm an avid cross-country runner(running 6 times a week) and we're going to regional and states this year. I haven't been eating the best though, and I think it's been effecting my times. I still need to get rid of some extra fat, please help! But please remember that i'm in highschool so I can't do mini meals or anything like that. Thanks a lot=]!
9Well, what things ARE you eating is what I need to know first. Are you able to bring things to snack on at school? How much do you weigh? Get back to me on these and then I can answer your question a little more clearly. Thanks
10I know this was posted a while ago, but I have a question, and I would be so grateful if you could answer.
11Okay, I'm going to NY in late Nov. and I was hoping to get in better shape. I've lost about 20 lbs, and I'm 5'8" and 147 lbs now. But I really want to get long lean muscles by weight training but I'm not sure what to do. I've looked around but can't really find anything for women weight training, and how to get the look i'm going for. Well thanks in advance

13Hi,
14I go to the gym 4-5 times a week. I'm 5'2 and 115. I don't really want to loose weight so much but I do have problem areas and I don't know what to do because nothing works. The thighs inside and outside of my thighs. My leg rutine is:leg curl, leg extenssion, thigh adductor and abductor and squats. 3 sets of 12 reps. each. I finish w/ 30 mins cardio. I know I'm doing something wrong because I don't see changes in my lower extremities. Please help
thanks
What changes are you looking for? More muscle? Size? I need to know what your goals are for your lower body, then I can give you some more tips! ;0)
15Hi,
16Thanks for your quick response. Not more size, definitely not more size. Less fat more definition. I store my fat it the thighs.
thanks
