I have a question for everyone. I am trying a month long work out plan that has a pretty strict schedule... well last night was my first day. One of the exercises was the "Plank" I was to hold my position for 1 full minute. (I have never done the Plank before) My upper body is my weakest part and I had trouble holding that position for 20secs. LOL!!! Is there any cheat I can do to build up the ability to HOLD it for 1min?? Kind of like a girly pushup??

Maybe hold for 20 for 5 sets... until you build 30 to for 5 sets. And then slowly build up tp 1 min. It will take awhile... But keep at it.. it is a really great ab.
1You can also do the plank on your hands (push up position, just remember to keep your but down and your back straight) instead of your forearms. That should make it easier if you're just starting out.

3Yes, I'm with runinthesun...doing the plank on your hands is much easier. Start with the 20 seconds and slowly work your way up, adding 5 seconds every other time. You can do it!
